How A Kid Can Successfully Start A Business

Whether you’re well-established or a start-up, we’ve got the products to help keep your business moving in the right direction. I do not work for any of these companies. In fact, as of right now, I’ve never even worked in direct-sales. So, though I have researched these companies, what I’ve written here is merely my own observations and opinions and a list of companies I personally deemed the most trustworthy after much time culling the masses. I’m not guaranteeing that anyone will find themselves rolling in sweet, sweet cash by joining any of these companies.

Understand that the amount an item sells for will not go directly into your pocket as profit. You will pay eBay for hosting your item, PayPal for processing the payment, shipping fees to the buyer (if you choose to pay them), packaging costs, the cost of the item itself, and any incidentals of business. What’s left after all that is your profit. Every business has overhead; eCommerce is no different.

Beyoutiful Bath Bombs & More has opened for business in the Northtown Mall. They took over the former Yankee Candle store space near the center of the mall on the first floor. While they do sell bath bombs, they actually have a store packed full of other great things including candles from Valley Candles. Many of their items are locally produced! Go them!

I did all of this against the grain. Against the grain that society sets for all of us, saying if you don’t go on to college, exceeding in higher education, that succeeding in life is almost impossible. I never believed that to be true, and I still don’t today. I learn more and more everyday through my experiences, and through the people in my life, and also through the people that I reach out to, in pursuit of knowledge. I truly have studied business, at the Business School of Hard Knox.
